@fleablood Because this was a student who came into an open math tutoring session and said that he was not allowed to use any trigonometry. Furthermore, I am actually inclined to believe the student because in a typical math class in the USA at least, if the teacher expects the student to use trigonometry, then some side lengths are also provided. This figure, with only the angles and relative lengths tells me that "only geometry" was intended.
